The Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited (BSNl) organised a consumer outreach programme here on Saturday.
Consumers from different villages of Gajapati district attended the meeting presided over by BSNl GM Paul William and attended by secretary Rabi Narayan Sahoo and DGM KC Mishra.
Many consumers brought the network problems into their notice and urged them to install new towers in different blocks. Even the district headquarter town of Gajapati has the poor quality of service. The BSNl is collecting bills regularly but not acting on complaints.
People face various problems in day-to-day life due to unavailability of network. Even, they fail to call 108 Ambulance in the time of emergency.
The consumers requested the officers to look into their demands and resolve them at the earlier. The GM assured to resolve the issue within a week’s time.
