A team of 105 BSF Battalion on Saturday defused three landmines planted by Maoists at Pujariput Chhak on the Ramgiri-Gupteswar Road in Koraput district.
Sources said the BSF team led by Assistant Commandant Ashok Mohapatra located the landmines while conducting a combing operation in the area. It may be noted here that a BSF team had in the night of December 31 exchanged fires with Maoists in the area in which a hardcore woman Maoist Sirosha was killed.
