A coordination meeting between the Commissionerate police of Twin City and the Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) was held under the chairmanship of BSCL CEO Sanjay Kumar Singh in the presence of Commissioner of Police Saumendra Priyadarshi, Additional Commissioner of Police Rekha Lohani here on Saturday.
The meeting reviewed several systems being implemented by the BSCL such as City Surveillance System for efficient monitoring and enhanced citizen safety, traffic violation detection to further strengthen traffic rules enforcement, public address system and Dynamic Message Signboard for effective dissemination of information to citizens.
The meeting also discussed the traffic accident recording system for collection of accident data and subsequent analysis over GIS platform for black spots and other accident-prone areas, automatic vehicle location system with onboard units for real time tracking of police vehicles and optimised operation management.
