Meet on child rights held in city
Bhubaneswar: The Centre for Child and Women Development (CCWD) in collaboration with Save the Children organised an orientation programme for strengthening child federation here on Saturday. As many as 100 participants from 30 child clubs from different slum pockets of Bhubaneswar and its outskirts participated in it. CCWD secretary Sadasiv Swain said every member of the federations should make children aware about child rights. Federation members Usarani Patra, Madhab Nayak and Madhusmita Das referred to the problems relating to education, health and protection in slums and village areas.
HDFC Bank introduces Subvention Scheme
Bhubaneswar: The HDFC Bank, in association with city-based Milan Developers & Builders Pvt ltd, has introduced a Subvention Scheme in Odisha. The scheme enables customers to own a home by paying 20 per cent of the booking amount and the remaining in the form of EMI’s starting after 30 months (possession date) from the date of construction.
