Balisira RI Jasmin Biswal under Aska tehsil in Ganjam district and peons Purna Chandra Patnaik and Ashoka Kumar Ratha were held by Vigilance officials on Thursday for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 8,000.
They had demanded the bribe from one Santosh Satapathy of Baunsalundi village under Bhanjanagar police limits in Ganjam district for sending the processing documents and papers to Aska tehsil office for issuance of 10 numbers of ROR.
On Satapathy’s complaint, a trap was laid and they were caught red-handed by Vigilance officers at the Balisira RI office.
