A sensitisation rally was organised by the Zila Swasthya Samiti in association with the NGO May I Help You on the first day of the World Breastfeeding Week on Friday last.
The procession, which was flagged off by CDMO Dr Anup Kumar Ghosh, began from the District Headquarters Hospital and passed through the town with slogans and displaying placards carrying messages on benefits of breastfeeding.
Among others, ADMO (FW) Dr Bana Bihari Dasmohapatra, National Health Mission DPMs T Narayan Rao and Suryapratap Mahamansing, DPHCO KC Parida, ADPHCOs Ramanikanta Bhanja and Sapan Kumar Patra and NGO activist Ubachak Mohanty were present.
