Pramila Devi Mahila Kalyan Sangh president Pramila Tripathy has said that she feels insecure about her life as some people have threatened to kill her.
“Our Sangh has been resolving family quarrels for long. Accordingly, I had once approached police over a family quarrel of Jagannath Padhy of Lanjipalli. However, Padhy, his wife Reena Padhy and other family members have now threatened to kill me.”
“I feel insecurity and, thus, police should provide me protection,” Tripathy said at a Press meet on Wednesday.
She further informed that she approached the High Court seeking protection as police didn’t accept her FIR first. However, the police registered her FIR thereafter, she said.
“If the culprits are not arrested by Friday, I will submit a memorandum to the DGP and stage a dharna in front of his office,” said Tripathy.
