The Annual General Body meeting of the Berhampur Tent and Suppliers Owners’ Welfare Association was held here on Sunday.
Apart from the annual report, the members discussed threadbare about the various problems of the association. Elected representatives and political dignitaries attended the event.
Prominent among those who attended include Brahmapur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu, local MLA and Chairperson, Ganjam Zilla Planning Board Bikram Panda, BeMC Mayor Sanghamitra Dalai, District BJD president and former MLA Dr Ramesh Chandra Chyau Pattnaik, Deputy Mayor of BeMC E Vivek Reddy,
Odisha Cashewnut Corporation Chairman Subash Maharana, State Bar Council member and Corporator of Ward-29 Sanjeet Kumar Panigrahi, besides intellectuals and scribes.
Later, the Association and “Odisha Mo Paribar” jointly organised a mega voluntary blood donation camp to encourage the youths to donate blood for the cause of humanity.
The elected representatives in their address assured the association to address all the genuine problems as per the law.
