Vigilance officials on Thursday conducted raid on the residential house and office rooms of Brahmapur MI Division Assistant Executive Engineer Ajit Kumar Sabat on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
The Vigilance sleuths raided his Government residential quarter at Revenue Colony, triple storied building at Ramhari Nagar, two flats at Manmohan Mansion Apartment and his office and parental house at Sidhartha Nagar in Brahmapur simultaneously.
During the raid, total immovable and movable assets worth Rs 96,15,983 were detected in the names of Sabat and his family members.
Sabat entered into Government Service in 1994 as a stipendiary Assistant Engineer in the Brahmapur Investigation Irrigation Division.
