Skilled professionals from the Government ITI Brahmapur recently showed their e-waste art by creating an art by up-cycling the electronic components which are of no use otherwise.
The main objective of the ITI is to raise awareness of e-waste and how to reduce it, so that more people will up-cycle their e-waste in micro level, said the Principal of the Institute Dr Rajat K Panigrahi. “We have used useless mother board, CPU, EPROM, SDM radial capacitor, LED display, mouse, PCB boards and a plethora of such unused equipments into beautiful objects like clock, flower pot, wall hanging dummy robots.
All these small handicrafts can be used by the interior decorator professionals that will fetch money,” Dr Panigrahi claimed.
He further informed that, a 30 feet big sculpture is under construction which will use only the e -waste. This will give a message to the entire world about the importance of up-cycling of e -waste.
