The reports, analyses and comments in The Pioneer about the Brahma Parivartan fiasco are quite exhaustive. The articles on the subject by Jayant Das and Biswaraj Patnaik are incisive and enlightening. I don’t agree with what Prof Raj Kishore Mishra said in his interview that the culprits who made a mess of the most sacred ritual of the Nabakalebar should not be punished now in apprehension that it would jeopardise the other rituals of the mega religious event. And Pinaki Misra’s views are typically those of a ruling BJD spokesman.
