The Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya celebrated Raksha Bandhan with al enthusiasm here for a week from August 1 to 7.
Over 500 Brahma Kumaris and Brahma Kumars participated in the final celebration held at the Vishwa Vidyalaya’s main service centre in Unit IX on Monday.
Sister Geeta tied rakhis on the hands of Governor Dr SC Jamir, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Assembly Speaker Pradeep Kumar Amat and many Ministers and wished for their wellbeing.
Similarly, Brahma Kumaris visited schools, colleges, Government, private and corporate offices and tied rakhis to about 2,000 people, creating an atmosphere of brotherhood at each place.
Brahma Kumari Geeta coordinated the whole programme successfully.
