Brahma fiasco: Action must against all offenders, says CM

Published on:

Though late, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday broke his silence on the Nabakalebar Brahma Parivartan fiasco stating that action would be taken against anybody found guilty in delaying the ritual.

Patnaik said this to mediapersons in New Delhi. He is on a four-day visit to the national capital now.

Notably, the Shree Jagatnnath Temple Administration has suspended two servitors, Kashinath Das Mohapatra and his son Jayakrushna Das Mohapatra on the charge delaying rituals of Brahma Parivartan.

Meanwhile, SJTA Chief Administrator Suresh Mohapatra has contended that suspension of the two servitors helped in smooth management of the Rath Yatra. He said actions would be taken against more persons in the Brahma Parivartan mismanagement.
