The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) would conduct final semester theory examinations for all courses online with open book system.
The BPUT issued a notification in this regard on Saturday.
The examinations would be held tentatively from the first week of July with an open book system and set of innovative questions based on outcome-based education, which tests the applied knowledge of the students, read the notification.
The students would be allowed to appear for the examinations from their home or to use the broadband/computer facilities of the affiliated technical/professional institution and Government ITIs/Polytechnics nearest to their houses as per their choice.
The students who opt not to appear for the online examination can appear for the offline final examination of the university after re-opening of the educational institutions, it informed further.
