The Royal College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences observed the National Pharmacy Week here recently with this year’s theme “Know Your Medicines: Ask Your Pharmacist”.
College Director cum Principal Prof PN Murthy expressed his happiness on seeing the active participation of students in various activities. He also briefed about the theme and its importance.
Royal Education and Research Society president Dr T Praksh Rao shared his experience on child medication and rational use of medicines and antibiotics.
Prof US Mishra expressed on service and importance of pharmacy profession in society. Prof Anjan Kumar Mahapatra delivered on creating awareness of the profession of pharmacy to the general public.
Other teachers also expressed their views on the week and made the students to feel proud for choosing this profession as their career where they can directly serve to the mankind; hence to God.
College associate professor Dr Prasant Kumar Choudhary offered a vote of thanks.
