The Bada Bazar police here arrested anti-social Sheikh Feoze Khan alias Pillu, a resident of Premnagar Canal Street, when he was moving suspiciously with a mouser and some live bullets on Tuesday and forwarded him to court.
The police, on a tip-off, came to know that a miscreant was suspiciously moving with some deadly weapons in the area. After the incident of looting Rs 30,000 from a woman in the San Bazar area on Monday, the police had intensified its patrolling in the area, as a result of which they succeeded in nabbing Pillu while he was suspiciously moving near the Maa Budhi Thakurani Temple and brought him to the police station for interrogation. An Italy-made 9MM mouser and live bullets were seized from him.
Pillu was involved with the incident of a brutal attack with mouser on Y Satish, a resident of Kampa Street on March 26 last year, and since then he was absconding. He later reportedly got an anticipatory bail from the High Court.
