A day after a missing three-year-old boy was found dead in a well at Khankira village under the Nihalprasad police limits in Dhenkanal district, police on Friday arrested a woman neighbour in connection with the incident.During interrogation, the woman confessed to her crime saying that she killed the child to settle a score following a dispute between the two families. The woman said that she suffocated the minor to death before dumping his body in the abandoned well in the village.
As per reports, child had gone missing while playing invillage on Wednesday evening. His body was found in well on Thursday morning, following which police began investigating into the incident.
