A research-based book Krantidarshi Kahanikar: Yaspal Aur Sachidanand, making an extensive comparative study between Hindi writer Yaspal and Odia Jnanpith awardee Sachi Routray, was presented to Governor Dr SC Jamir at the Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.
The book authored by Dr Urmila Acharya takes into account Routray’s immense creative prowess as a storyteller. It focuses on both the writer’s ability to feel the pulse of the obsessed and exploited people belonging to the lower strata of the society.
The Governor said that such efforts give people an insight into the literary world of two great writers of different languages in one book.
