Two unidentified bike-borne miscreants on Thursday hurled bombs at the house of local Congress leader Pramod Kumar Jena damaging two cars parked at the portico of the house.
The incident happened when Pramod and his family members were absent at home.
According to sources, at 7.30 pm on Thursday the two bike borne miscreants stopped in front of the house and suddenly hurled bombs towards the portico and wall.
Sources said, during the incident one Nimai Charan Sahoo, the office-in-charge of Pramod was present in the house and lodged a complaint at Paradip police station.
Meanwhile, police started investigation. The exact reason of the attack was yet to
be ascertained.
