Bank of India (BoI) chairperson and Managing Director VR Iyer recently inaugurated the bank’s e-Gallery at its Shastri Nagar Branch here.
The bank at Bhubaneswar Zone which functions under control of General Manager, National Banking Group (NBG), East, stationed at Kolkata has 131 branches out of the total 973 branches in the NBG, constituting 13.46 per cent of total branch network of the NBG and 2.72 per cent of the total domestic branch network of the Bank.
Out of the total branches in the zone, 45 branches are located in urban areas, 38 in semi-urban areas and 48 are in rural areas in the State. Total business mix of the zone is `10,022 crore with deposits of `6,922 crore and advances of `3,101 crore constituting 16.30 per cent of the total business mix of the NBG, the release stated.
