On Sunday morning, Sukra’s wife told the police that her son Budhu (22) had killed her husband Sukra on Thursday night with an axe.

A police team then went to her house and recovered the Sukra’s corpse with a deep injury mark on back part of his head. Police also seized the axe, reportedly used in his killing, from the house.According to sources, on Thursday night, Sukra Munda had some war of words with his son Budhu over some issue following which the latter picked up an axe and hit Sukra’s head. Sukra Munda died on the spot. Budhu had also threatened her mother and neighbourers not to inform the police about his ghastly act. Hence, they didn’t inform the police about the incident. “We are now searching for Budhu Munda, who is at large. We will arrest him very soon,” said Koira PS IIC HK Naik.
