Police have begun investigation into the death of three members of a family, including a woman, whose bodies were recovered from the Chiplima power house channel near Burla in Sambalpur district on different days.
The woman, whose body was recovered on Saturday morning, was identified as M Kalyani of Dulampur village under the Attabira police limits.
The body of her two-year-old son had been recovered from the power channel on Friday and that of her seven-year-old daughter had earlier been recovered on March 10.
Police came to know the identity of the two children after identifying the body of the woman, whose body was sent to the Burla hospital for postmortem.
Police said the exact cause of the death would be known after the postmortem.
