Bodies of two youths, who had gone missing since Wednesday afternoon, were recovered on Thursday from under a culvert at Meheruni under the Manmunda police limits in Boudh district.
The bodies of the duo hailing from Majhipada and Sigadi villages were found from near a nullah in morning. This apart, a two-wheeler was also found from under the culvert.
The deceased were identified as Prakash Mallik and lankeswar Mallik. The family members of the deceased rushed to the site and identified them.
The two youths had gone to the Manmunda market for shopping. However, they did not return to their homes till late in the night and were missing since then.
The family members alleged that the youths have been murdered.
The deceased duo along with one more person had left for Manamunda. While two bodies were found and the third person remained incommunicado, the needle of suspicion has been pointed towards the missing person.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case of unnatural death and begun investigation into the incident.
