Panic gripped Baleswar town after three minor students got themselves injured under the spell of the infamous Blue Whale challenge game.
The injured are students of Class IV of a private school at Gopalgaon under Town police station limits.
They bore cut marks on their elbows.
What made them to inflict injuries on them is yet to be ascertained.
Neither the victim students, nor their parents told anything indicating that the students were players of the fatal game.
On the other hand, the police said that they had no information about such an incident.
According to sources, in the last period of the school, a student injured himself and directed two others to also injure themselves. They reportedly slit their hands with the help of a metal stand of mosquito repellent.
But what prompted the students to instigate others is still a mystery.
It is learnt that the victims had little knowledge of the Blue Whale game.
The parents too claimed that their wards had hardly any access to mobile phones or computers.
