OUAT sports teacher and blood donor Gopimohan Pattanaik organised a blood donation camp here on the occasion of his 26th marriage anniversary on Monday.
Pattanaik is a centurion blood donor and a social worker. The camp was held to make people aware about the importance of the society saving life by donating blood, he said.
A total of 25 units of blood were collected at the camp. Social activists Sushant Sahu, Sripati Acharya, Panchanan Samal and Ranjan Kumar Das were present. For his noble work, Pattanaik has been awarded by the Governor, the Chief Minister and different organisations.
