On the occasion of the birth centenary of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, a blood donation camp would be held by the Eastern India Oil Refinery Workers’ Union on December 11 and 12 at the refinery’s Zero Point office premises.
Rajya Sabha member and Jagatsinghpur district BJD president Bishnu Charan Das, Balikuda-Ersama MlA Prasant Kumar Muduli, Jagatsinghpur Zilla Parishad President Debi Prasad Mohanty, former PPT Trustee and social worker Saroj Kumar Pattnaik are to attend the inaugural function of the blood donation camp.
Eastern India Oil Refinery Workers’ Union president Santosh Kumar Pattnaik has requested voluntary blood donors and youths to donate blood and make the Jeevan Bindu programme of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik successful.
Notably, in a blood donation camp held on March 4, 2016 a record number of units of blood was collected by the Eastern India Oil Refinery Workers’ Union.
