The Modi Sena on Wednesday held a blood donation camp in city and took up a plantation drive in the premises of Janata College, Kuhudi near Khordha to mark the 64th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“As Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged not to observe his birthday ceremoniously owing to J&K floods, we cut-short all gala planning and confined to hold a blood donation camp and plantation activities,” said Sena activists.

The Bhubaneswar City Club also took part in the events. While more than a hundred units of blood was collected, thousands of medicinal and fruit trees were planted in the Janata College premises.

This apart, some unnoticed social workers were honoured by Modi Sena in the evening to mark Modi’s birthday, informed sena coordinator Murli Sharma and secretary Dev Misra. City Club members Hathi Sukkant, Prakash Behra and Aroon Shetty provided all supports.
