Here is a good news for the patients in VIMSAR Burla and particularly those in need of blood. Now, the new rule is all the patients will get blood totally free of cost. At the same time, they will not have to pay any processing fee for this purpose.
“From first day of the current month, this order will be carried out in VIMSAR,” informed VIMSAR Principal Dr BM Mishra. Earlier, the patients have had to pay the cost of the blood they needed during treatment. When somebody was getting interested to donate blood, then the patient had to bear the processing fee for it. But now onwards, there will be no charge of any kind, he added.
“Not only blood, all other things and major testings including laparoscopy, urology testing etc. will also be available free of cost here. Only patients interested in staying in cabin have to pay the charge,” Dr Mishra added. The decision by the VIMSAR management has brought cheers among the poor patients. Organisations involved in blood donation have also expressed their happiness over such a decision as it is sure be helpful in saving the lives of the poor patients.
