The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) would stage stir on May 12 at the lower PMG protesting the apathetic attitude of the State Government to give employment to the ITI and Engineering students, informed Morcha State president Tankadhar Tripathy at a Press meet on Tuesday.
They also demanded resignation of Minister Sanjay Dasburma as he is involved in corruption.
Yuva Morcha members complained that the State Government is not taking any steps to place the IIT students to the engineering institutions.
The cancellation of the special recruitment drive for technical students in the year 2014 has exposed the Government’s lack of planning for the move, said Tripathy. The applicants had also given Rs 100 as registration fees, but they did not get any result, he added.
Hundreds of youths under the banner of the BJYM would meet the Chief Minister on May 12 and explain their problems including the poor status of the ITIs and engineering colleges, condition of practical training and about the recruitment, etc.
Yuva Morcha State general secretary Thakur Ranjit Das and Biswaranjan Badajena were present, among others.
