The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Tuesday urged Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal to intervene into the ‘faulty’ online examination system of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and protect future of students.
A BJYM team led by State president Irasis Acharya met the Governor and informed him that it is not possible for all students to follow BJPU guidelines for the online examination.
“The BPUT has issued guidelines asking students to have four GB ROM, web cam, mike and three-hour long uninterrupted power supply for the final semester examination. It is not possible for all students, particularly of rural areas, to fulfill these criteria,” said Acharya.
The team urged the Government to issue necessary direction in the interest of the students.
Among others, Bhubaneswar district president Abhishek Acharaya and BPUT Final Year student Ranjit Sahoo were present.
