The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) State unit will hold a rally before the Assembly on February 7 over growing unemployment rate in the State where lakhs of youths would join, told Morcha State president Tankadhar Tripathy. Tripathy said the youths would ask the BJD Government as to why it has failed to provide jobs and create enough opportunity for self employment to the Odia youths despite being in power for two decades.
There are large scale vacancies in various departments of the State Government. The industries with whom the State Government has signed MoUs are not adhering to the agreement to provide jobs to the locals. On the other hand, the State Government has put huddles for various Central projects like NTPC, NHAI and oil firms which would provide jobs to the Odias, told Tripathy, adding that in the rally Morcha’s national president Poonam Mahajan would address the youths.
Among others, BJP vice president Samir Mohanty, Morcha national vice president Ranjit Dash, State general secretary Biswaranjan Badajena and secretary Dipak Gochhayat were present.
