Members of the BJP Yuva Morcha staged a demonstration on Tuesday in front of the SDPO office here, protesting against the recent attack on BJP workers in Boudh district.
Notably, BJD MlA Prashant Jagadev, two local corporators along with the BJD workers had thrashed the BJP workers at Manmunda in Boudh district on July 29.
BJD Minister and MlAs are misutilising their power, alleged the saffron party members.
Though the Chief Minister has taken the responsibility of the Home Department, the BJD workers are creating the nuisance, said Yuva Mocha president Sidhanta Gangadev. The CM is giving protection to them, he added.
They also burnt an effigy of the CM and Minister Sanjay Dasburma.
BJP Yuva Morcha general secretary N Rajendra Kumar, sdistrct convenor Pravat Sadangi, Tumbeswar Nayak and Santosh Sahu were present, among others.
