“Subash Sahu of Janakeda village under Gaisilet block had attended a an election meeting addressed by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Gaisilet on Thursday. When he returned to his village, BJD workers at behest of Minister Sushant Singh abused him and, when protested by his 15-year-daughter, they even manhandled her. The ruling party’s this act violates Model Code of Conduct,” alleged the memorandum submitted to the CEO.

Similarly, the saffron party demanded that CCTV cameras installed at Telamahul Chhak, the many entry point to Bijepur and Gaisilet blocks from Padmapur side, while alleging that police are not allowing BJD vehicles and stopping vehicles of the BJP.

The party too wanted that stringent action should be taken against Ganjam liquor trader and BJD supporter Hara Prad Sahu who was caught carrying illegal money two days back. “Many liquor traders and hired goons have now camped in Bijepur.
