The BJP Mahila Morcha State president Prabhati Parida announced her new team members at a Press meet held here on Thursday.
The team includes five vice-presidents, three general secretaries, six secretaries, a treasurer and seven permanent invited members. Besides, 29 members have been designated as State executive committee members and 27 as special invited members. The names of district members for 29 organisational districts were also announced.
Kananbala Pattnaik, Susama Biswal, Smruti Pattnaik, Sujata Barik and Pinki Pradhan were adjudged as vice-presidents of the BJP Mahila Morcha, whereas Prabhati Satpathy, Rukmani Maharan and Babita Patra were declared as the general secretaries. Besides, Kalpana lenka, P laxmi Pattnaik, Rashmi Dash, Diptirekha Nayak, Rajalaxmi Das and laxmi Hansdah would serve as the secretaries. Bijaylaxmi Mohapatra is the new treasurer of the women wing.
Parida said the Mahila Morcha would create 10,000 active members under her leadership within the next three months. Besides, the Morcha would hold meeting at the party office every Tuesday to solve various issues relating to women and children.
“The women wing will work for providing speedy justice to exploited women and children, opening of women and children cells in all police stations and setting up of women protection cell in all offices as per the Visakha guidelines,” said
