Protesting no arrest of culprits raping a physically-challenged girl near Singha Dwar (lion’s Gate) of lord Jagannath Temple on June 23 in Puri, BJP Mahila Morcha members burnt effigies of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and four other Ministers near the Ram Mandir here on Friday.The activists led by women wing State president Simantini Jena burnt the effigies of the Chief Minister, Housing and Urban Development Minister Puspendra Singh Deo, Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das and law Minister Arun Sahu.“The Chief Minister has deputed four Ministers to Puri for smooth conduct of the ensuing Rath Yatra keeping in view the deteriorating law and order situation. But the mishap occurred near the Singhadwar while the four young Minister are camping in Puri,” said Jena.The activists demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and help to the victim.
