CM urged to oust Min in  two days

The BJP Mahila Morcha would hold demonstrations against and burn effigies of Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy in protest against his alleged ‘two husbands’ remark against women at all district headquarters for two days on Friday and Saturday.

Morcha State president Pravati Parida informed this in a statement on Thursday. She said Morcha has been forced to take to the streets as the Chief Minister didn’t expel Maharathy even as 72 hours passed since he made the derogatory remarks against women.

She further informed that the Morcha would intensify the stir if the Chief Minister doesn’t drive away him within the next two days.

“In the past, Maharathy had talked to a woman MLA with slangs and now he has given derogatory remarks against women. He has lost his mental balance. He has no right to continue in the Government,” said Parida.

Among others, vice-presidents Niyati Giri and Dr Aicharya Biswal and State secretary Rashmirekha Dash were present.
