The State BJP will launch two-day Jail Bharo movement from Monday across the State against the massive corruption and scams by the BJD Government, particularly the ‘chit fund’ scam and involvement of Ministers and other ruling party leaders.
The BJP has called the agitation to highlight the unbridled corruption, scams and irregularities by the BJD Government in all sectors including mines, water, dal, coal and agriculture. The party workers would court arrest at the sub-division level.
The party workers would demand a CBI or SIT probe into the chit fund scam and urge the Government to make public the names of the ministers, BJD MlAs and other ruling party men having nexus with the chit fund operators, said BJP State spokesperson Sajjan Sharma.
Sharma demanded that the Government make alternative arrangement to pay back the depositors’ money.
