The BJP would gherao all Government and private universities in protest against the “interference of two BJD MlAs” in the affairs of the Ravenshaw University that resulted in student unrest. Thousands of youth activists of the saffron party would participate in the agitation across the State. There are many private universities functioning in the State apart from 11 Government universities, both academic and technological.
“The studious atmosphere has been damaged in many of autonomous colleges and universities due to interference of ruling party leaders. Students unrest in the eminent Ravenshaw university is just an example,” said Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha State president Tankadhar Tripathy.
