BJP Odisha unit in-charge Arun Singh arrived here on Thursday.
BJP State president KV Singh Deo said Singh would announce the decision of the party Parliamentary Board regarding the party’s stand on Rajya Sabha polls on late Thursday night or Friday morning after Singh shares the Parliamentary Board’s decision with party MlAs and seeks their views on it.
In another development, Kandhamal BJP MlA Manoj Pradhan met the party’s senior leaders and discussed about the party’s preparations for Narendra Modi’s visit. He then left the party office without attending the BJP MlAs’ meeting. Though the party workers tried hard to trace him, they didn’t get any information about him.
Following this, a BJP delegation led by Samir Mohanty met the Special Observer for the RS polls and requested him to ensure that Pradhan casts his vote in the election.
