A workshop on Central programmes for fishermen was organised by the BJP, Ganjam district unit here on Friday. Party’s district president Kanhu Charan Pati and State secretary Bibhuti Bhushan Jena alleged that fishermen are not getting benefits of various schemes being implemented by the Centre due to callous attitude of the State Government. They told fishermen that their clansmen are reaping such benefits in other States. Among others, Pravat Sarangi and Rajat Pandit were present. Many fishermen from about 20 villages attended the programme. On the occasion, a committee was formed to keep fishermen informed about Central schemes. The committee comprised S Raja Rao as president, G Jagannath as secretary and K Madheya, V Rama Rao, D Kameya, B Rudraya, K Dash Rath as members. Inform
