The BJP has demanded a judicial probe into the death of a couple, Dhubeswar and his wife Dubudi, of Pangalpada village under Tumudibandh block in Kandhamal district.
“The people in the district suspect that the couple was killed in police firing. While the villagers claim that the couple was innocent, the police accused them of being Maoists,” said BJP leaders Karendra Majhi, Sukanta Panigrahy and Rudramadhab Ray through a Press release on Wednesday.
