More than a hundred of BJP workers led by Debashisha Hota held a rally from Rekula which moved around Kamakhyanagar toen and requested the shopkeepers and passersby to support the Odisha bandh called by the party protesting the death of the Kunduli gangrape victim.
The BJP workers also moved to the offices of the Sub-Collector, Tehsildar and NAC and requested the employees to boycott their official work in support of the issue.
The Bandh at Kamakhyanagar was successful and peaceful with spontaneous support of the local people and businessmen.
