The BJP State Krushak Morcha on Wednesday set its strategies and appointed district observers for its signature campaign to be held from July 1 to 15 to press for waiver of farm loans and disbursement of interest-free loans to farmers.
Party’s all State executives, district in-charges and State coordinators attended the meeting held under chairmanship of Morcha president Shibaji Mohanty.According to the plan, Morcha activists would collect signatures from 50 lakh peasant families in 36,000 booths during the campaign. The party appointed 36 observers for equal number of organizational districts for holding the campaign.
Among others, Krushak Morcha State in-charge Sameer Mohanty, Morcha national vice-presidetn Maheshwar Sahoo, national council members Krushna Jagdeb, Sukant Panigrahi and Amulya Nayak and general secretaries Surath Biswal and Sameer Patra were present.
