The Gajapati BJP office was inaugurated by party’s district president and former municipal chairman Tripati Nayak here.
Raising concern over the dismal performance of the BJP in the district, former BJP MlA of Ramagiri Bharat Paika said coordination and cooperation among the members of the party could make the party candidates fare better in the ensuing municipal elections.
However, Zilla Parisad member Antarjyami Gamang said there is cordial relationship among the leaders and members in the party and what is needed is to prepare for the general elections.
“We must raise social issues instead of political issues only,” said Nayak, adding, every member must work with dedication for solving the problems of the people in their respective areas.
Former sarpanch Chittaranjan Panda, councellor Sunil Mahapatra, town president Babuna Behera, Manas Ranjan Biswal, Arun Patnaik and Braj Patnaik were among others present.
