The BJP Krushak Morcha would launch a membership drive in the State in which about two lakh farmers would be enrolled, informed Morcha State president Sibaji
Mohaty at a membership drive meeting held here on Sunday.
Chief guest Morcha national general secretary Dr Sambhu Kumar called upon the farmers and other people involved in farming in the State to become member of the party.
BJP State VP and Morcha convenor Samir Mohanty urged the members to make farmers aware about the Central Government’s developmental scheme for them at booth-level and urge to them to join the party.
Among others, Morcha general secretary Surath Biswal, Ananta Nayak, Krushna Jagadev, Sukant Panigrahi, Subhrashu Mohan Padhy and Anshuman Mohanty were present.
