The BJP law and legal Affairs Department held a meeting here on Friday demanding return of PC (percentage) allegedly taken by Government officials during the last 17 years.
“Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has virtually accepted that PC is being taken by State Government officers and employees. This illegal activity is being done within the knowledge of the Government. We demand that all officers and employees, who have taken PC during the last 17 years, return the money,” demanded activists.
They alleged that there is a nexus between the officers and employees of various departments with the State ruling party over the PC collection.
They said the ‘PC Pherao’ movement would continue at every Government office in coming days,
