Former BJP State Yuva Morcha secretary lipsit Mishra on Sunday demanded Textiles and Handlooms Minister Snehangini, MP Dr Pravash Singh and MlA Debesh Acharya be arrested soon for their alleged involvement in the attack on Union Ministers, Santosh Gangwar and Sadhvi Niranjana Jyoti.
He too alleged Bhatli MlA Sushanta Singh and BJD Bargarh president Bijayaranjan Singh Bariha were indirectly involved in the attack. He wanted to know why the police arrested 16 persons when cases registered against about 100 persons.
Meanwhile, bail pleas of 16 persons have been rejected. The police are now searching for 14 BJD workers, including Bargarh MlA, in connection with the case, said SP B Jugal Kishore.
