The BJP Krushak Morcha has supported the agitation of the milk farmers in the State. It held a meeting on Wednesday here under the chairmanship of Morcha State president Shibaji Mohanty.
An investigative team of the Morcha would visit 11 milk production centres, run by the Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers; Federation (OMFED) and two centres, by the Milk Union to take stock of the situation.
Three teams were formed for the purpose under the leadership of three general secretaries. Surath Biswal and his team would go Puri, Bhubaneswar, Chandeswar, Tirtol and Brahmapur. Sameer Patra and his team would visit Remuna in Baleswar, Anandpur in Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Angul, while Anil Nanda and his team would visit Bhawanipatna, Goshala in Sambalpur, Rourkela and Jaypur, informed Morcha State general secretary Surath Biswal.
