A seminar on ‘Human resource migration and related problems’ was organised on behalf of the BJP Intellectual Cell here on Saturday.
The speakers, who attended the seminar presided over by Sameer Mohanty, discussed in detail how skilled and unskilled labourers are migrating to other States and being tortured there. Besides, it also discussed how the State Government has failed to control the migration.
Many of the speakers demanded that the State Government come out with a White Paper as regards to migration of labourers from Odisha to other States and open a special Directorate to contain this issue.
While lalit Mishra spoke on the objective of the seminar, lecturer Purnachandra Mallick anchored the whole programme.
Among others, Sajjan Sharma, Prafulla Kumar Mishra, Harihar Satpathy, Ratikant Panda, laltendu Badu, Madhuchhanda Panda and Prakash Mohapatra were present.
