The BJP’s organsation at the grass-roots level is getting strengthened in Athagarh with greater number of educated people being inducted into the party recently.
Fed up with the style of functioning of local BJD MlA RP Swain and lack of development in the area over last six tenures of Swain, the educated youths are switching sides to the BJP inspired by the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With the recent induction of Bibhu Prasad Rath (lenin), a young and dynamic leader in the party, the youth organization has got active.
last time, BJP candidate from Athagarh Biswa Sundar Mishra is getting tremendous support for his dedicated service for the welfare of the local people. Similarly, recent re-induction of Dr Sanjukta Tripathy in the party has also strengthened the local BJP women wing.She was the founder member of BJP here but due to her long absence for personal cause she could not work for the party.Now, she has rejoined with Biswa Sundar to empower the party here. Dr Tripathy told this paper that she would do everything possible to rejuvenate the party.
Dr Tripathy said that the present MlA was damaging even the marks of JB Patnaik’s contribution during whose tenure as MlA, he had built a beautiful stadium and set up a spinning mill, power looms and a dyeing factory etc. The BJP, however, will work with all zeal to strengthen the confidence of Athagarh people, she assured.
